Cook Express – BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE by Sunaira Peris
As a part of Cook Express, a Vasco Watch Community Initiative, “Little Chef” Sunaira Peris, a Class IX Student of Navy Children School demonstrated a lipsmackingly delicious Blueberry Cheesecake. She was assisted by Ms. Sarita Peris, her mother.

Ingredients for The base
- 3 small packets of Marie biscuits.
- 100 gm butter.
Crush the biscuit in the mixer and put in a big bowl.
Add the butter to it and crumble it and press it down in the base of the cheese cake tin.
Put it in the freezer for a minutes of 20 mins to set.
Ingredients for the cake
- 500 gm Yogurt
- 200 ml Fresh Cream
- 1 Tin Condensed Milk or to your sweetness
- 2 spoons of Cheese Spread
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp Gelatin
- 1/2 a cup of hot water
In a big bowl add in the yogurt, fresh cream, condensed milk, cheese spread and lemon juice. Mix well with a whisk or hand beater and keep aside.
In a vessel take 1/2 a cup of hot water and stir in 2 tbsp of gelatin and mix well till dissolved. Add this mixture to the previous yogurt etc mixture and give it a quick and very good mix.
Pour this over the base that is kept in the freezer and put the same back in the freezer for about 2 hrs to set.
Pour canned blueberries on top to decorate.
