The Panchyagavya workshop organised for the citizens of the neighbourhood by the Goakitchen garden group drew an enthusiastic response. The 27 participants were shown the technique of making Panchagavya (organic soil and plant health booster) and how to use EM solution as an insect repellent by resource person Mr. Miguel Braganza.  If you are interested in joining the Goa Kitchen garden group’s next workshop call 94224 376 23 for details.

Mix 1 kg cowdung and 100g desi ghee and keep in plastic vessel to ferment. After 2 to 3 days add the following ingredients. 1 litre cow urine, 400 ml Milk, 400 ml Curd, 100 ml Toddy, 2 Ripe Bananas, Stir well. Ferment for 10 days.
